Summer 2016// Bloom & SCOOP
Reilly Craft Creamery, a Detroit small batch ice cream and cheese company, is doing a pop-up in the West Village under the name Bloom & Scoop. At Bloom & Scoop Chris Reilly will be offering single sized servings as well as take-home pints, maintaining his mission of providing locally sourced, handcrafted ice cream to the Detroit area. Using only 100% organic, grass fed milk from Hill High Dairy in Standish, Michigan, Reilly is using the pop up as a place to debut new flavors such as Mexican Hot Chocolate and Killa Beez to add to his well-proven classic recipes (sea salt caramel, mint chocolate chunk, butter pecan, etc.) as well as his vegan gelato flavors, which will all rotate during the pop-up’s summer/fall duration.
Bloom & Scoop is a collaboration between husband and wife Chris Reilly and Gabrielle Reilly, of Flowers By Gabrielle in Grosse Pointe Park. To compliment the ice cream, this creative retail space features fresh cut local flower bouquets, small natural arrangements, succulent gardens, and plants in unique vessels. This offering showcases smaller, more grab-and-go work by Gabrielle, who at her shop in Grosse Pointe Park offers larger bouquets, flowers for weddings and special events, as well as daily local deliveries.
